How do I set up WhatBins?

It's simple! Download WhatBins from the App Store, enter your postcode, select your address from the list, and you're done. Your bin collection schedule will appear straight away.

Which councils are supported?

We currently support Kirklees council. We're actively working on adding more — Leeds and Wakefield are next on the list. Stay tuned!

Why is my address not showing?

We may not support your council yet. If you think we should, please get in touch and let us know — it helps us prioritise which councils to add next.

How do I change my address?

Open WhatBins and go to Settings. From there you can update your postcode and select a new address.

Is WhatBins free?

Yes, WhatBins is completely free to use. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.

How do notifications work?

WhatBins sends you a reminder the evening before your collection day, so you never forget to put your bins out. You can manage notification settings within the app.

My bin dates seem wrong

Bin schedule data comes directly from your council. Dates can sometimes change due to bank holidays or other disruptions. If something looks off, please contact us and we'll investigate.
